what is a community school strategy?

what is a community school strategy?

“A community school strategy transforms a school into a place where educators, local community members, families, and students work together to strengthen conditions for student learning and healthy development. As partners, they organize in-and-out of school resources, supports, and opportunities so that young people thrive.”

YOUR VOICE MATTERS
Steering COmmittee Meetings are open to the public

Our Community Schools Steering Committee leads the work here at Rancho. Comprised of 12 voting members, who provide equal representation for all stakeholders (Students, Parents/Caregivers, Administrators, Certificated Staff, Classified Staff, and Community Partners), our Steering Committee meets regularly to plan, implement, and review Assets and Needs data collection, work toward the goals we have set for they year, and determine the allocation of funding provided by the CCSPP Grant. These meetings are open to the public, and everyone is welcome!
